This is the poem I read at grandma's wake: 
This poem reminds me of how grandma felt about her journey in this life and the next. 

Time for me to go now, I won't say goodbye;Look for me in rainbows, way up in the sky.In the morning sunrise when all the world is new,Just look for me and love me, as you know I loved you.

Time for me to leave you, I won't say goodbye;Look for me in rainbows, high up in the sky.In the evening sunset, when all the world is through,Just look for me and love me, and I'll be close to you.

It won't be forever, the day will come and thenMy loving arms will hold you, when we meet again.

This is the eulogy I read at grandma's funeral:
For anyone who knew our grandmother Geri, knew she was the kindest, strongest, and loving woman ever. She never judged, never held grudges Only loved everyone who crossed her path. She never turned her back on anyone, ever. Us grandchildren just simply adored her, as well as her children did. From our trips to the beach and just hanging by the pool to all of our holidays spent together, grandma never missed a beat. She was the true matriarch of our family and will always be the glue that holds us together. 

Her and her sister Dolores had such a special bond, and we all know how much they loved each other. I can only hope that me and my siblings can maintain such a loving and beautiful friendship. Their relationship is something really aspiring and I can't wait to share what life has to offer with all of you, just as they did.

Her family was her life. Her reason for living.....She showed us this every day from her phone calls, cute text messages or just her simple "I love you more's". The past few days I've listened to what everyone had to say about her, and it seems like she made everyone feel this way. Many people told me "she always made us feel welcomed and loved". A lot of our other family and friends even said " she was everyone's grandma". She truly did love everyone. 

Grandma, We hope you always dance, and always fly high above us all. Heaven hit the jackpot the day you entered those pearly gates. We know your sons, husband and parents are there to greet you with those smiles we all miss so very much. We will always keep you in our hearts and memories.
