Joey you were more like a brother to me then a brother in law. You were always there for us and our children, and grandchildren. When I needed help you did not hesitate to help us or my family, and we never had to ask twice. You always made us laugh and you always brought out the best out of all of us. You touched our hearts and will never forget that because of your great personality . As a father you always protected Natalie and your loving wife Janine. We always had a great time together and that will be greatly missed. We will miss you and shall be there for Janine and Natalie whenever they need us. May you rest in peace and someday we will be together. Love Maryann and Joe.

Ahh Joey what can I say?? You were one of the greatest people I've met in my entire life. We hit it off right when we first met all those years ago. If I or anyone ever needed something, you were there. Without fail. The love you had for me and my family and anyone else that came into your life is immeasurable and will never be forgotten. You've gone above and beyond for Janine, Natalie and the rest of your extended family time and time again. And that smile. Always had that beautiful smile every time we saw you. I really don't think you realize how much you've meant to everyone and how much love and admiration we have for you. Our hearts are forever broken and we miss you tremendously. We love always and forever, Jay, Dina, Nicholas and Alyssa. Until we meet again, RIP my dear friend. 💔💔

Joseph was a happy person, little did I know him he was a very humble person, friend who loved his family very much.
Sometimes life is unfair, but life is so our life on earth is only by passing
May you have your eternal rest and peace in heaven.
Janine and Natalie have a lot of strength for you and think you have a little star looking at you

Joe was one of the most genuine and devoted men I have ever met. He truly inspired me. He loved his wife and daughter completely. This story had such an impact on me and several of my other friends. Years ago when I was throwing a surprise party for my wife, all the guests of course arrived early to surprise her. The surprise went off without a hitch but one of my good friends relayed this story of Joe and Janine to me later in the evening. Apparently, when Joe and Janine arrived it was drizzling a little bit. While all the guest watched, Joe pulled the car up in front, got out, opened an umbrella and proceeded to walk his wife up to the house under the umbrella to keep her dry. Every guest there rethought a few things in their lives upon witnessing his devotion. He was old school and kind. And though I never saw it, the endearment with which my friend described this event has stuck with me for many years. He influenced many people with that simple act of grace and it truly changed me. I will miss him as will we all.

Joe, I will always remember you as a dedicated family man, who watched over your people, you loved and protected them. I admire men like that, someone who will protect the people he loved with every ounce of life he had. I saw the photo of you in Aruba with your family and I remember smiling and thinking what a great guy! I will remember those chats we had at the backyard parties and how so nice of a guy were to us. May you find eternal peace and may the lord shine on your family in this awful time in their lives. Tommy Pantaleo
