Joe, wish you hadn’t left us so soon. You were way too young to leave! You fought for our country and raised a wonderful family. You were alway there for anyone who needed help, and would have given any of us the shirt off your back. I have so many great memories of you and the things we did together, too many to write about here. Glad your suffering is over. Until we meet again, Rest In Peace buddy!
P.S. Thanks for all the fish😜

Joe you were the the greatest friend and neighbor. We lost touch but I always knew that if I ever wanted to stop and chat you’d be a welcome partner. You will be missed. You are and will always be loved. Rest In Peace my friend.

Our deepest condolences to Barbara and family. I met Joe through fishing and have many fond memories. Joe was one of the best fisherman I knew and could catch fish when no one else could. Two weeks ago my wife and I spent a few hours with Joe, Barbara and Maureen . Joe's parting words to me were I will be planning the fishing trips up there and I will save you a spot. Rest in Peace my friend. Until we meet again.

Joe, My sincerest condolences to your wonderful wife Barbara and your entire family- my fondest memory of you was when you took me fishing in your boat, we dragged an umbrella jig and caught loads of fish. I brought them home and you told me how to do them on the BBQ,, what a time;) , You had such an easy going attitude, and made everyone around you relax. You really knew what it meant to live a good life. Thank you. Chris

We now have to find a new fisherman. Maybe Joe up there in heaven can teach Andrew, Peter, James and John the fisherman apostles a thing or two.

We enjoyed Joe's company and his fresh fish and his fish dishes. We miss him.

In loving memory , John and Rosemary Fickling.
