Leilani E. McKenna

Leilani E. McKenna, 84, of Centereach, New York, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 18, 2025. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Richard and daughter Lori. Leilani is survived by her devoted children William (Shirlee), Rick (Lorrie), Teresa and Cathy (Dave); as well as her cherished grandchildren, Jessica, Thomas, Lindsey, Chelsea (Justin), Jamie, Paige, Rory, Sarah, Kelly (Tyler), Chris, Will, Dylan, Shannon, and Megan. Loving sister to Phyllis (the late Johnny), Jane (Bob), Roberta (George), and Roger (Ginger).

Leilani had a deep love for her family and took great joy in spending time with them, especially on family vacations. She and her husband, Richard, created lasting memories on their trips to Lancaster, PA, and cherished their camping adventures together. Holidays, especially Christmas, were always celebrated in grand style, filled with warmth and love.

A passionate gardener, Leilani found joy in tending to her plants. She was also an avid fan of the New York Yankees and spent many happy moments crafting, painting, and woodworking with her husband. Leilani had a special fondness for her dolls and bears and enjoyed the company of all dogs. Her kind heart, creativity, and dedication to her family will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A visitation will be held for Leilani on Monday, February 24, 2025, at O.B. Davis Funeral Homes, 2326 Middle Country Road, Centereach, NY 11720, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A prayer service will be held at 8:00 PM on the same day. A committal service and cremation will take place on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, 41 Main St, Center Moriches, NY 11934.

Leilani's memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, and she will be remembered for the love and joy she brought into their lives.
