Louis James Cenicola passed away on July 29, 2013 of Patchogue. Beloved husband of Susan, and the late Margaret (Margie).Loving father of the late Barbara, Louis and his wife Linda, step children Rose and her husband Rich, Vinny and his wife Diane, and Angela and her husband Bobby. Cherished grandfather of Amanda, Andrew, Marc, Michele, Jimmy, Vinny, Jessica, Michael, Robert, and Gabrielle. Adored great grandfather of Aurora, Michael, Donato, Mia, Elia, and Maureen. Devoted brother of Richard. Caring uncle of nephews Jay and his wife Debbie, Richard, Michael, Ronnie, Jimmy, and the late Billy, and niece Jan.

Louis grew up in Brooklyn, New York as one of nine children. As a young boy he joined the Civil Conservation Corps to provide for his family, and upon becoming of age enlisted in the U.S. Navy becoming a Seabee (U.S. Naval Construction Force). After the service, he worked for the city of New York as a elevator mechanic for 30 years. "Louie" had a passion for playing the horses, cars, and aiding those he loved. Reposing Thursday August 1 2p.m. – 4p.m. & 7p.m. – 9p.m. at the O.B. Davis Funeral Homes, 2326 Middle Country Rd. Centereach. Mass Friday 9:45 a.m. Our Lady of the Snow RC Church. Interment LI National Cemetery.

My Louie-Louie, Everytime I see a Cadillac or pass an OTB I will smile and think of you. You always treated us like one of your own and we all loved you very much. Because of you we were blessed with Michelle and Jimmy who we all adore and promise to watch over for you. When I look into the beautiful sky our Lord created , I will be thinking 'Heres looking at you kid' Rosie (Up the hill) xoxox
