

Matthew C. Neebe, a devoted husband, loving father, and compassionate social worker, passed away on July 18, 2025. He was surrounded by the love of his family and leaves behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and unwavering support for those in need.
Matt is survived by his beloved wife, Dominique, and their cherished children, Tyler, Spencer, and Desmond. He was a devoted brother to Jean Olejowski and her husband Phil, and the loving son of Kathleen Hander and the late William Neebe. His warmth, humor, and generous spirit will be deeply missed by many extended family members and countless friends.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, Matt carried his hometown pride with him throughout his life, especially through his passionate support of the Phillies, Eagles, Flyers, and 76ers. Sports were more than a pastime—they were a reflection of his loyalty and dedication. So too was his love of music, particularly punk rock. The Jawbreakers held a special place in his heart, their raw emotion and authenticity speaking to his soul.
Professionally, Matt dedicated his life to helping others as a social worker. He brought empathy, strength, and sincerity to his work, making a lasting impact on the lives of many individuals and families. He believed in standing up for others and meeting people where they were with compassion and understanding.
A visitation to honor Matt's life will be held on Monday, July 28, 2025, from 5:00–9:00 PM at O.B. Davis Funeral Homes, 2326 Middle Country Road, Centereach, NY 11720. Funeral Service, 7:00 PM. Private cremation will follow.
Though he is no longer with us, Matt's spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
