Richard J. Lanigan

Richard was the devoted husband of Yvonne for over 40 years, and the loving father of Ryan (Angela) and Kristina (Nelson). He was a cherished grandfather to Layla, Angelise, and Antonio, who brought endless joy to his life.

Richard was a man of many passions. He loved shopping on QVC, where he found delight in discovering new treasures. A lifelong enthusiast of technology, Richard had a knack for working on computers and was always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need of tech advice. His heart was filled with music, especially the timeless sounds of The Beatles and Led Zeppelin, which were always playing in the background of his life.

One of Richard’s greatest joys was taking road trips and car rides with his family. These journeys became treasured memories, filled with laughter, conversation, and a sense of adventure.

Richard’s love and legacy will continue to live on through his family, who will forever remember the warmth, joy, and love he brought into their lives.

Visitation services will be held at O. B. Davis Funeral Homes, located at 2326 Middle Country Road, Centereach, NY 11720, on August 27, 2025. The visitation will take place from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

The committal service is scheduled for August 28, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm at St. Charles / Resurrection Cemeteries, 2015 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735.
