Bobby was the kind of man whose quiet strength, unwavering loyalty, and genuine kindness left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him. If there was ever a more kind, loyal, and humble man, we did not know him. He was a true friend to everyone, always willing to lend a helping hand, share a laugh, or simply be there when someone needed him. His warmth and generosity touched countless lives, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of calling him a friend.

He is survived by his loving brothers, Frank and George, along with many extended family members, friends, colleagues, and the countless individuals whose lives he enriched throughout his lifetime. While our hearts are broken by his passing, we find comfort in knowing that Bobby is now reunited with his beloved mother and grandmother, whose love and guidance meant so much to him.

Bobby dedicated his professional life to serving others, particularly young people in need. During the 1980s and much of the 1990s, he worked at Lincoln Hall in Lincolndale, New York, where he devoted himself to helping court-adjudicated and disadvantaged teenage boys find hope, direction, and opportunity. His compassion, patience, and belief in the potential of every young person made a profound difference in the lives of many who crossed his path.

For the past two decades, Bobby continued his life's mission through Suffolk County BOCES, serving as an Adult Education Programs Administrator for the Suffolk County correctional system. He believed deeply in the power of education, second chances, and personal growth. Throughout his remarkable career, he impacted countless lives in positive and meaningful ways, leaving behind a legacy of compassion, mentorship, and service that will continue for generations.

Outside of work, Bobby's passions were many, especially when it came to sports. He was a lifelong and devoted Green Bay Packers fan, proudly owning a share of Packers stock—a distinction he loved to joke made him an "owner" of the team. He was equally passionate about New York sports, faithfully cheering on the Knicks, Mets, Rangers, and Jets through every victory and heartbreak. Whether discussing a game, sharing statistics, or celebrating a big win with family and friends, sports brought him endless joy and countless cherished memories.

Above all else, Bobby will be remembered for his gentle spirit, infectious smile, steadfast character, and the love he gave so freely to those around him. His legacy lives on not only in the family who loved him but also in the students, colleagues, friends, and community members whose lives are better because he was part of them.

Rest in peace, Bobby. Your courage, kindness, and generosity will never be forgotten.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during visitation on Friday, July 31, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and again from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at O. B. Davis Funeral Homes, 2326 Middle Country Road, Centereach, NY 11720.

A funeral service and interment will take place on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Pinelawn Memorial Park and Arboretum, 2030 Wellwood Avenue, Farmingdale, NY 11735.

Though Bobby's earthly journey has ended, the kindness he shared, the lives he changed, and the love he gave so freely will remain in the hearts of all who knew him forever.
