Ronald C. Fregara, 86, of Farmingville, NY passed away on January 2, 2021. Proud member of the Catholic War Veterans and usher at the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary R.C. Church, Centereach, NY. Retired after a rewarding career as a maintenance mechanic and foreman for Pan American Airlines and Jet Aviation. Survived by his beloved wife, Lorraine and children Steven, Barbara Michie (late Mitch) and Debra. Cherished grandfather to Vanessa, Nicholas, Amy (Matt), Leah and D.J. Devoted great-grandfather to Jared, Gwendolyn, Eva Marie, Elizabeth, Samuel, Noelle, Nathan, Nolan and Tonio. Predeceased by his brother John and parents James and Elizabeth. Visitation will be held at O.B. Davis Funeral Homes, 2326 Middle Country Road, Centereach, NY 11720 on Thursday from 8:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. Funeral Mass, 10 a.m. at the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary R.C. Church. Interment to follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park.

One of my favorite memories is you asking me if I wanted a pine float drink. Of course I said yes. I was certain it meant a alcohol drink. I thought I was going to find out what alcohol was all about and being responsible. You came back with a glass cup and a toothpick floating in it.
