We were lucky enough to know Steve through the family. We will miss him and his sense of humor at the family gatherings..... they just won't be the same.
The great grandchildren were lucky to be able to know him as "Gigi"...... he really loved them. Our prayers go out to the family. Rest in peace.

I am so sorry for the loss of your father. We first met Steve as our neighbor and became lifelong friends with him and Mary. We shared some very special times. I remember a time when Steve had been working on his car all day and couldn't get it to start. Some very frustrating words were heard. Then my Steve came home and offered to help. After a quick turn of the rotor the car started. We all enjoyed a great laugh that evening. Knowing Steve was a great privilege. He will be missed dearlly and will always have a special spot in my heart. My love and sincere condolences go out to his family. Maria Jakatt
