Tevyn Michael Rodriguez passed on August 27, 2026, at the age of 34, and was a resident of Lake Grove, New York. He was a beloved son, brother, grandson, and cherished friend whose presence brought warmth, laughter, and love to all who knew him.
Tevyn will forever be remembered and loved by his devoted mother, Yvette Rodriguez Clanton, and his father, Adler Brutus (Andrea Horrigan) as well as his Stepfather Michael Gonzalez. He was a beloved brother to Jared Brutus, Johanna Brutus, Miles Rodriguez, and Robert Beckles, and a cherished grandson to Carmen Rodriguez and Marie Brutus and bonus grandmother, Joan Gonzalez.
Tevyn had a genuine love for life and for the people around him. He was passionate about sports, especially his beloved Jets football and Knicks basketball. He also had a deep appreciation for music, which brought him joy and allowed his vibrant personality to shine.
Most of all, Tevyn had a special gift for making people feel good about themselves. His kindness, spirit, and ability to lift others up left an unforgettable impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him. He had a way of making people feel seen, valued, and loved.
Though his time with us was far too short, the love he gave and the memories he created will remain in the hearts of his family and friends forever. Tevyn's laughter, his music, his passion for sports, and, most importantly, his beautiful spirit will never be forgotten.
Visitation will be held at O. B. Davis Funeral Homes, 2326 Middle Country Road, Centereach, NY 11720, US, on September 12, 2026, from 8:00 am to 10:00 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Saint Anne's R. C. Church, 88 Second Ave, Brentwood, NY 11717, US, on September 12, 2026, at10:45 am. Private Cremation to follow.
