I didn’t know him that well, but I do remember one conversation we had about how he made his lasagne with 13 layers and I was so impressed by that! He always had the biggest smile, he was a special man. He will be missed.

So sad to hear of Mr. Laforte's passing. What a nice geniune man he was with his infectious smile and laugh. Had many fond memories of laughing and joking with him at barbeques. He was a family man who loved his wife, his three beautiful daughters, his grand children, family, friends and people around him. He will truly be missed. My condolences go out to Mrs. Laforte and his three daughters, Patty, Joann and Diana and the rest of his family as well. God bless him,. Craig, Theresa and Joseph

Brother Knight of Columbus, Vinnie was a great friend of all the brothers at St Gerard Majella Council #7006. He was always smiling and quick to lend a hand. He was a wonderful part of our council and will be sorely missed by all the K of C brothers.

If only we could all sit around a table and play LCR just one more time after a fresh plate of Grandpa’s lasagna on a Christmas evening. What a beautiful, generous, loving soul he was. It’s not every day that you meet someone who lights up the room the way Grandpa did. His spirit was contagious. It was impossible not to smile whenever you were with him. I am so blessed to have known and loved him. I’m honored Mia Rae will carry the La Forte name in his remembrance forever. He will forever be in our hearts. Until we meet again.
