To all of the Rubino family, I am so saddened to hear about Mr. Rubino's (Vinny) passing. Growing up in the Point-of-Woods neighborhood, I was able to get to know Vinny enough to see how much of a caring father and husband he was. In my most formative years, Vinny served as a wonderful example to me of how to care/provide for loved ones and still be an approachable, engaging human being. I found it special that he would take time to speak with me individually and always treated me like an equal (rather than the child I was). I am thankful to have known Vinny and hope these words provide some comfort and peace in how he was meaningful to me.
