I met Marvin in Dayton in 1993. I was one of two engineers that were stationed in the Commodity Management Group. Marvin was one of the Quality Specialist I talked with often. He was very smart, nice, and soft spoken, However, when he said something people listened. He was a loyal and hard worker, great gentlemen, and never said anything to judge people. 
I haven't seen Marvin for a while at DSCC. I left the group in 1999 but stopped by every once in while through the years. I was shocked that he died and my sympathies and prayers go out to your family.
  Marvin was a good person and left his mark with me and other people at DSCC. May the good Lord get you through these tough times and know that Marvin is not forgotten. God bless you all.

Was so sorry to hear of the passing of my dear cousin, Marty.  I, too, am battling cancer & know how difficult it is to fight this dreaded disease. We can take some comfort in the fact that his battle is over and he is now at peace with our Heavenly Father.  Just wanted you to know that I'm thinking of you and will keep you in my prayers.

I am so sorry to learn of Marty's passing. I know how much you love your 'boys'. To see that he fought cancer makes it so much worse to me. The year after I left Sycamore I took care of my Mom as she went through her own battle with that horrific disease. 

I know Marty will be missed by many, but none more than his Mom. Emma, I think of you often, and always with love.

There are no words to express how saddened we are to learn of Marvin's passing.  Andy and I worked with him at DSCC.  We got to know him a lot more in the past several years as he began his difficult journey with his medical issues.  As ill as he got, we never heard him complain or feel sorry for himself.  We will miss his quiet humility, his gentle smile, and upbeat attitude. 

Marvin you came in and lit up many people's otherwise dark hearts.  Your work on earth may be finished, but your time in Heaven has only just begun.
