My memories go back to DPD days where I remember Mary Lou as the best complaint clerk in the department.  Add to that her sense of humor and true friendship & you have 1 terrific lady.. Rest in peace Mary Lou as we will meet again

My husband and I had the pleasure of living next door to Mary Lou for almost 6 years. She was a very kind and sweet lady. We truly enjoyed chatting with her when we would be outside in our driveways. I always tell everyone that I hope I'm like Mary Lou when I get older; always on the go and keeping busy. She was just a genuinely nice and funny person. She will be missed very much by us. We are so very sad that she had to leave this earth, but take comfort that she is with the Lord. We are praying for her family and friends during this difficult time. Oh- and whenever I watch the Reds, I'll be thinking of you, Mary Lou.

Mary Lou was my wonderful next door neighbor and friend. She was such a sweet, kind, witty, classy woman. She enjoyed life and was on the go every single day...whether it was to go to dinner, for drinks at The Shroyer Inn where we first met years ago, visit family, shop....she was always going somewhere. Twenty years my elder she put me to shame with her get-up-and-go attitude and zest for life. We'd see each other in our adjoining backyards and talk on many occasions as she was coming or going. I will miss our chats and I will miss HER tremendously!  It will take quite some time to get over the shock of her sudden passing as I'm sure it will for many who knew and loved her...especially her family. I am so VERY sorry for your loss and I will keep you in my prayers as you go through this difficult time of grief, remembrance and acceptance that Mary Lou is Home and at peace waiting for opening day for the Reds!!
