I'm saddened by the news of Sheila's passing. She was a wonderful friend and although I had not seen her in some time, she has been in my prayers. She always shared kind words and inspiration to me when I needed it. She will be missed so much, but is with her Savior and truly cancer free!   Praying for her family!

We first met Sheila when she became a neighbor. Our daughter babysat for her girls and they became friends. Then she found this other neighbor (Jim Smith) and they became friends for life. Two wonderful people. Love and sadness for the Smith family.

Shelia holds a special place in my families heart.  She was my son's best friend when the world was too much for him and made school bearable for a little boy.  She will be truly missed and always remembered

I always feel a swell of warmth and fondness in my heart when I think about Sheila and her daughters Angela and Amanda, and the time we spent together many years ago in youth group... I'll never forget being a mouse and a pig in the theatrical productions we put on (and I have searched in vain for copies of those!) but especially I'll never forget the feeling I had knowing Sheila truly loved me. It was one of her gifts from God... a way for Him to touch others through her. I thank Him for bringing us into each others' lives, and I pray that her family and friends continue to feel His love as we reach out to each other. I miss her so much - but I rejoice that we will see her again one day! I wish I could come celebrate her.... since I cannot, I'm sending prayers and loving thoughts.

I remember family dinners, picnics, and gatherings with Sheila and the Ryder family when I was dating  Mark.  I always felt welcome by Bud and Eve, Jane, Barry, Sheila, Ann and Mary.  Such warm, loving memories of that time in my life!  Thank you, Sheila, for being a part of these memories.  You all remain in my thoughts and prayers.
