Bobbye Lynn Barthe, age 47, a native of Baton Rouge and resident of Denham Springs, Louisiana passed away on Wednesday, September 1, 2021. Bobbye was born October 21, 1974. She leaves behind a husband of 24 years, Wedge Oakes Barthe II; two sons, Braylon Wedge Barthe and Evan Gerald Barthe; mother, Margaret Smith; Father in law, Wedge Barthe; sister in law, Wendy Peavy (Mitchell); nephew, Ty Peavy, and Uncles in law, Ellis Barthe and Sam Barthe II.
She is preceded in death by her father, Bobby Lee.
Bobbye, affectionately known as "Mrs. Bobbye" by her loving husband, was a loving mother and wife. She enjoyed cooking, and crawfish boils. Mrs. Bobbye's favorite pastime was fishing. She was devoted to her family and her loss has left a great sadness in our life. We will miss her dearly.
