BT was preceded in death by his mother, Wensel Vines Taylor, and his father, Burney Boyd Taylor Sr.
BT served in the Air Force for four years in Radio Communications, a role that reflected steady discipline and a deep sense of duty. He later retired from the Zachary Police Department as a Lieutenant, remembered with respect for a career marked by commitment, professionalism, and service to others.
In quieter moments, BT found simple, familiar comforts—spending evenings outside listening to music with a good cigar and a cold beer. He also enjoyed photography, and he especially loved working in Photoshop, his favorite app, where patience and a careful eye could turn an image into something lasting.
BT is survived by his wife, Ann Taylor; his children, Bryan Taylor (Alaina), Brad Taylor (Robin), Dale Crochet, and Nikko Hill (Chuck); his grandchildren, Lane, Kaycee, Brady, Bailey, Jacob, and Luke; his brother, Donald (Valarie); and his sister, Sarah Lee (Jim).
