Steadfast and loyal husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend, Chuck departed from this life on Saturday, June 7, 2025 in his home in Baton Rouge, Louisiana at the age of 85. Chuck served our country in the US Navy 1957-1959 with two tours in the south Pacific on the USS Hancock and 1960-1963 as a Navy reservist. After his military service he settled his family in LaPorte, Indiana and began his first business, F&F Enterprises. In 1977, he boldly moved the family and his business to Baton Rouge where he continued business ownership as an ornamental ironworker and craftsman. Much of his life was devoted to his wife Noreen, especially in her years of many medical needs. When they were healthy and empty nesters, Chuck and Noreen enjoyed camping in their RVs, making many trips to the Naval base in Pensacola, Florida to see the Blue Angels practice. At home Chuck enjoyed family visits and watching television western movies.
A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, June 28, 205 at Berean Ministries, 508 N River Rd, Denham Springs LA 70726. Visitation will be from 10 to 11am with the memorial service following, led by Pastor Kenny Kepper.

He is survived by sons Douglas Alan Flitter, Sr. (Renee) and Gregory Paul Flitter, Sr. (Jacquette); daughters Cheryl Ann Flitter Yennie (Henry) and Pamela Sue Flitter Deville; his many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
