

Curtis Johnson Sr., 79, a native and lifelong resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, passed away on November 14, 2025. Curtis was a proud graduate of McKinley Senior High School and worked for many years as a dedicated cement mason. Known for his strong work ethic and steady spirit, he touched many lives through his labor, kindness, and commitment to family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sadie Johnson and George Keller Sr. Curtis leaves to cherish his memory his devoted girlfriend of 17 years, Mona Harris; his children, Christian (Latonya) Johnson, Curtis Johnson Jr., Zues Johnson, Eric Bradley, Onterrio Bradley, Capris Johnson, Maya Johnson, and Eshan Asley; his grandchildren, Steven Johnson, Christina Johnson, Corrin Johnson, Alivia Johnson, Eric Bradley Jr., Cristen Johnson, Braden Clemons, Nivea Johnson, and Giana Johnson; his sister, Joyce Aucoin; and his brothers, Frank (Gloria) Johnson, Sherman Johnson, and George (Dorothy) Keller. He is also remembered fondly by extended family members and friends. Visitation will be held at Central Funeral Home, 9995 Hooper Rd., Baton Rouge, LA 70818, on Saturday, November 22, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until the Celebration of Curtis’s Life at 12:00 p.m., officiated by Pastor Cornell Webbs. The family extends special thanks to New Century Hospice Services, Mona Harris, and Eric Bradley and his wife for their loving and compassionate care of Curtis in his final days. Curtis will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
