A resident of Baton Rouge for 71 years, Glen died Friday, June 25, 2021 at his home. He lived all his life in Baton Rouge. Glen was an electrician who retired from LSU Physical Plant. Glen was known as "Hippie" at LSU. Glen enjoyed his shop and Hot Rods, and he built a 1953 F100. Glen is survived by his brothers, Gary Barker and wife Joanie Barker of Long Beach, MS, and Greg Barker of Baton Rouge, LA; his nephew Casey Barker and his four children, Joshua, Emma, Athena, and Madison of Long Beach, MS. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Voncille Barker of Baton Rouge, LA; and his wife, Debbie Landry Barker of Baton Rouge, LA. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service to be held at Central Funeral Home, 9995 Hooper Road, Central, LA at 2 pm Saturday, July 10, 2021.
