Glenna Sue Griggs

Glenna Sue Griggs was born on February 16, 1940, to Athen and Freddy (Ingram) Brumfield in Franklinton, Louisiana. A longtime resident of Baton Rouge, she passed away on October 19, 2024, at age 84. Glenna was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jimmy Griggs; and daughter, Kimmie Capello. She is survived by her sons, Troy Staton and Joey Griggs (Krystle); stepson, Lee Griggs (Angela); stepdaughters, Jimmie Craft (Eddie), Susan Raymond (Ricky), and Linda Clement (Art); and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. A visitation for Glenna will be held on Friday, October 25, at Central Funeral Home at 9 am until service at 11, conducted by Bro. Glenn Taylor. Burial will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Caden Griggs, Brett Capello, Beau Capello, Tony Staton, Brandon Staton, and Austin Boudoin. The family sends a special thanks to The Claiborne at Shoe Creek and St. Joseph’s Hospice for making Glenna’s final days comfortable.
