Lloyd Lee Laudermill, 83, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, passed away on July 28, 2026. Born on July 26, 1943, Lloyd’s life was marked by steady devotion to family, pride in hard work, and a deep appreciation for the simple joys that bring people together. Lloyd graduated from Poydras High School in New Roads, LA. Over the years, he built a career defined by reliability and responsibility—working at Ethyl Corporation for 20 years as an Operator, and later retiring from IPS (Industrial Parts Specialists) as Manager of Shipping and Receiving. Away from work, Lloyd found genuine enjoyment in LSU Sports, fishing, and horseraces. He and his wife, Beverly, shared a love of spending time together—going dancing, eating out, going to the movies, and traveling—creating a life rich in companionship and shared experiences. Lloyd is survived by his wife, Beverly Trammell Laudermill; daughters, Cathy Turner, Connie Parker and husband Tim; step-daughter, Michelle Carriere Toney and husband Patrick; sons, Chris Laudermill and wife Val, Chuck Laudermill; sister, Betty Laudermill Hodges; brother, James M. Laudermill, Jr.; grandchildren, Christen, Jessica, Mary, Alexis, Andi, Corey, Morgan, Brandi, Casie; great grandchildren, Michael, Baylee, Presley, Ty, Calem, Dayton, Brixton, Nola, Wesley, Emilee, Ryan; and great-great grandchild, Weslie Jean. He was preceded in death by parents, James Milton Laudermill, Sr. and Rita St. Romain Laudermill; brother-in-law, Mark Hodges; and mother-in-law, Examae Trammell. Visitation will be held at Central Funeral Home, 9995 Hooper Rd, Central, LA 70818, on July 31, 2026, from 9:00 am until 11:00 am, followed by the Funeral service at 11:00 am until 12:00 pm. Burial will take place at St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Church Cemetery, 3523 LA Hwy 78, Livonia, LA 70755, on July 31, 2026, at 1:00 pm. A reception will follow at Central Funeral Home, Reception Room, 9995 Hooper Rd, Central, LA 70818, on July 31, 2026, at 2:30 pm. Pallbearers will be Chris Laudermill, Chuck Laudermill, Corey Laudermill, James M. Laudermill, Jr., Ryan Laudermill, and Patrick Toney. Honorary pallbearer will be Sonny David.
