Marci Lane Fitzgerald

Marci Lane Perault Fitzgerald, 52, passed away Wednesday, September 1, 2021 after a long bout with cancer. Marci was born in Baton Rouge, LA on May 28, 1969. She graduated from Belaire High School in 1987. She became a stay-at-home mother when her only child, Madi, was born. Being Madi’s mother was her greatest blessing. Marci lived life to the fullest, never met a stranger and touched the lives of many. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with family and friends. She was outgoing, generous and took pride in her motherly ways. She loved fresh flowers, animals, and a good laugh. Marci is preceded in death by her father, Mark Perault. She is survived by her mother, Elaine Carles Perault; husband, Michael Fitzgerald; daughter, Madison Fitzgerald and sister, CJ Browning. There will be a memorial service held at Central Funeral Home on Hooper Road in Central on September 26, 2021 at 1:00 PM. The family would like to extend special appreciation to the staff of The Butterfly Wing of The Hospice of Baton Rouge for their special care and support during Marci’s time of need.
