Mary Camille Johnson Ferguson

Mary Camille Johnson Ferguson, age 82, passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2024. She was born in New Orleans and was a long-time resident of Baton Rouge. Mary attended Mount Carmel Academy in New Orleans and earned her Bachelor's Degree at Southeastern Louisiana University. She was also a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church.

Mary is survived by her husband, Henry John Ferguson; children, Kathleen Ferguson Poche (Gabe), Michael Ferguson (Inger), and Matthew Ferguson (Danna); daughter-in-law, Janet Ferguson; sisters, Catherine Johnson Kirsch, Carol Johnson Giglio, and Trina Johnson Clements; grandchildren, Jennifer, Elizabeth, Timothy, Sarah, Daly, Andrew, and Jenna; along with great-grandchildren, Bryce, Caroline, Alexandra, Adrianna, Jameson, Tate, Nick, and Colton.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd Johnson and Petrina V. Johnson; son, Mark Ferguson; and grandson, Davis Ferguson.

A visitation will be held on Friday, April 12th at St. Patrick Catholic Church from 10AM to 11AM; with a Funeral Mass beginning at 11AM officiated by Fr. Michael Micelli. Burial will follow at Louisiana National Cemetery in Zachary.

Pallbearers will be Matthew Ferguson, Gabe Poche, Tim Hannan, Chad Bradley, Justin Pothen, Andrew Ferguson, and Bryce Olivier.
