Patricia Allchin

Patricia Allchin, a devoted mother and supportive Army wife, passed away peacefully on October 18, 2025, at the age of 82. Born in Olympia, Washington, Patricia lived a life marked by love, resilience, and unwavering dedication to her family.

She is survived by her loving children: Helen R. Patin and her husband Dee Patin of Pride, Louisiana; Sue Owens of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; Gayleen D. Courtney and her husband Jason Courtney of Lakeland, Florida; and Gregg Allchin and his wife Candy Allchin of Cumming, Georgia. Patricia was a proud grandmother to ten grandchildren and a cherished great-grandmother to eleven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert F. Allchin, and her daughter, Carol A. Rodney. Patricia will be laid to rest alongside her husband at the Louisiana National Cemetery, a fitting tribute to their shared life of service and love.

The family extends their deepest gratitude to the compassionate nurses and caregivers who provided exceptional care during Patricia’s final days: Lisa Truther, Brittany Schnebelen, Tami Tucker, and the dedicated Hospice team at Clarity House of Baton Rouge.

Patricia’s legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew her, and her memory will be forever cherished.
