

Pat was a homemaker and married to her husband, Ed, for 33 years until his death. She was an exceptional cook, made the holidays very special for her family, enjoyed taking family vacations, instilled a love of shopping in the girls of the family, grew beautiful plants, and adored and spoiled her pets. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2025, from 10:00 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM at St. Jean Vianney Catholic Church, 16166 S Harrells Ferry Rd, Baton Rouge, LA. Burial will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA. She is survived by her daughter, Cindy (Barry) Cedotal Gant; daughter-in-law, Kathy Cedotal; grandchildren, Kristi (Corey) Normand, John (Kyla) Cedotal, Jr., Garrett Gant, Callegan “Callie” (Nathan) Gant Landry, and Hunter Gant; and great-grandchild, Cassidy Normand. Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Clarence Cedotal, Jr.; parents, Raymond Rizan, Sr., and Dorothy Rizan Easley; her son, John Edward Cedotal, Sr.; her father-in-law, Edward Clarence Cedotal, Sr.; mother-in-law, Vivian Cedotal; and three sisters-in-law, Sadie Broussard, Natalie Mire, and Nellrie Fernandez. The family extends a special thank you to her daughter, Cindy Cedotal Gant, for the love and care she devoted to her mother, Pat.
