

Randolph Francis “Randy” Scott, 73, passed away on April 16, 2025, in New Orleans, Louisiana. Born on September 16, 1951, in Gonzales, Louisiana, Randy lived a life marked by resilience, service, and a spirited sense of adventure.
Randy proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. His time in the military reflected his deep commitment to duty and his enduring strength of character. After his service, he continued to live life with a hands-on approach—he loved working with his hands and was always ready to take on a new project or fix what needed fixing.
A man who embraced life with a carefree and fun-loving spirit, Randy was known for his hard-headed determination and unmistakable style—especially his fondness for wearing cool hats that became something of a signature look. He found joy in travel and camping, often seeking out new places to explore and moments to savor under open skies.
Randy’s legacy lives on through his children, Jonathan Scott,wife Melody Scott and Kevin Scott; his grandchildren, Chase Scott, Aiden Scott, Breauna Scott, and Ripley Scott;His ex-wife Judy Brubaker Scott;his sisters Rhonda Townsend and Barbara Scott; and his brothers Eric Scott, Blain Scott, and Jesse Scott and Sister in Law Anita Scott.
He was preceded in death by his mother Artye Lee Scott; father Sidney Scott Sr.; and brothers Sidney Scott Jr. and Terrell Scott.and Brother in Law Jesse Townsend
