Rex Duane Allen, age 77, passed away peacefully in his sleep on the morning of July 23, 2026. Born in Farmerville, LA to the late Henry Willard and Zelma Mae Harris Allen. He was raised in Baker, LA, and was a longtime resident of Slaughter, LA.
Rex is survived by his sisters and their spouses, Fran and David Ashford, Nancy and Ed Strickland, and Amy and Terry McInturff; his brother and his wife, Phil and Susan Allen; and numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Laura Lambert and Carl Allen.
Per his personal wishes, there will be no services.
