

Rose Angelle passed peacefully overnight in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on November 16, 2022. She was born September 9, 1940 in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana. She was a retired employee of the Louisiana Secretary of State’s Archives Division. She was preceded in death by her parents Stanley Angelle Sr. and Stella Angelle, stepmother, Annabelle D. Angelle and brother, Stanley “Buddy” Angelle Jr. She is survived by sisters, Debby A. LaFleur (Joe), Central, La; Stella A. Guidry (Steve), Scott, La.; nephews, Glenn Angelle, Joshua LaFleur (Jessica); nieces, Jamie L. Schmolke (Michael); Sonna Jo Angelle; and Stefanie Angelle Guidry. Also survived by great nieces, Angelle Meche, Annabelle LaFleur and great nephews, Luke Schmolke, Matthew Schmolke, and Anthony LaFleur. After her retirement she volunteered at Redemptorist High School while her nephew and niece were students. She was an avid sports fan, anything LSU, and enjoyed playing cards with her bourré and poker groups. A memorial service will be held at Central Funeral Home located at 9995 Hooper Rd., Central, LA 70818 on Monday November 28, 2022 from 11:30am-12pm. Visitation 9:30am-11:30am. Donations should be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Special thanks to the staff of the Bellemont Victoria Apartments for their many kindnesses and considerations during her residence there (May 15, 1975 - November 15, 2022).
