Tonya Ann Patterson

Tonya Ann Craig-Patterson, a loving mother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend; passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, May 2, 2022 at the age of 51. She was born June 24, 1970 in Baton Rouge, LA and was a resident of Central, LA. A celebration of life will be held at Central Funeral Home on Thursday, June 2, 2022, from 6 to 8pm with a memorial service at 7pm.

Tonya is survived by her sons, Stanley Patterson (Brittney) and Dalton Patterson; sister, Stacey Robinson (Mookie); brother, Tommy Craig (Leighanne); niece and nephews, Tori King (Paige), Blake Oliver (Sydney), Michael and Everette “Root” Robinson, and Jacob Whaley (Leah); her aunt, Carolyn Joy Craig; numerous cousins and great nieces and nephews; godchild, Addison McDonald; best friends, Jaimi Price, Rhonda Melancon, Becky Gomez, Chanelle Thibaut, and Monica McDonald; and godmother, Jennifer McDonald.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Tommy and Rita Craig; sister, Tacy Craig; paternal grandparents, Jack and Dorris Craig; and maternal grandparents, Mark and Elsie Andrepont. Honorary pallbearers will be Stanley and Dalton Patterson, Tommy Craig, Rory Galligan, Todd Netherland, and Everette “Root” Robinson.

Tonya loved Garth Brooks and was able to see him in Baton Rouge before she passed away. She never met a stranger and had a laugh that would light up a room. Tonya loved to fish, cook and take care of everyone. Her home and arms were always open to anyone in need. Tonya loved her godchild Addison and would do anything for her.
