Winston Brett Goodwin, age 61, of Port Allen, Louisiana, passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2024. Winston was born October 3, 1962 in Tulsa, OK, to Ruth Ann Kribbs Goodwin and Ralph Franklin Goodwin. He served in the United States Army. Winston enjoyed his career at JM Test Systems for the last 19 years.
Winston is survived by his wife, Norma Susie Goodwin of Baton Rouge, LA; daughters, Victoria Goodwin of Baton Rouge, LA, Laura Drury and husband Stephen of Addis, LA, and Eva Drury of Baton Rouge, LA; brother, Scott Goodwin and wife Lynn of Norwalk, CT; brother-in-law, Bradley C. Galik and wife Jodie of Woodstock, GA; father-in-law, Pete C. Galik of Baton Rouge, LA; grandchildren, Damyan Drury, Haley Stoute, Chase Stoute, Alice Goodwin, and Stacy Blankenship, all of Baton Rouge, LA; great-grandchildren, Kayden Parsons, Parker Drury, Kacon Beard, and Kolten Beard, all of Baton Rouge, LA; aunts, Karen Parrella and husband Michael of Katy, TX, and Kay Thurman of Colorado Springs, CO. Winston was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Franklin Goodwin and his mother, Ruth Ann Kribbs Goodwin of Tulsa, OK; grandparents, Johnny and Ruth Hubbard, of Colorado Springs, CO. Visitation will be held from 5pm to 8pm Tuesday April 9, 2024, at Central Funeral Home. Visitation will resume Wednesday April 10, 2024, from 9am until 11am. Services will follow from 11am to 12pm. Cemetery burial will begin at 1pm at Louisiana National Cemetery in Zachary, LA. In lieu of flowers please make donations to St. Joseph's Hospice.
