Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Juanita ‘Nita’ Ethel Rosal, 72, of Morton, Wash., passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2020, at Morton General Hospital, surrounded by her family.
Juanita was born in San Francisco, Calif., on September 18, 1947, to Howard Lincoln and Elizabeth (Wilson) Carrico.
Nita married her sweetheart, Luigi Dominic Rosal, in Fairfield, Calif., on April 12, 1965, and was proud to have raised five wonderful children.
In younger years, mom loved horses and art. Later, she grew to love participating in dog shows, which led to a career in dog grooming. She enjoyed camping and hunting with dad, oil painting, interior decorating, scrapbooking, putting together puzzles, and working with ceramics.
Nita was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Elizabeth; and daughter, Lori ‘Pete’ Christine.
She is survived by her husband, Luigi; children, Jim (Jenni) Rosal, Rachel (Steve) Kelley, Mathew, and Steven (Leah) Rosal; twelve grandchildren, Tyler, LuLu, Jimmy, Dylan, Kevin, Michelle, Cody, Chris, Brandon, Austin, Joshua, and Trinity; eleven great-grandchildren; brother, Robert McBride; and sister, Dorthy Dunwitty.
Nita always lived life on her own terms. Her final wishes were met- she passed with her loving husband and all of her children at her side.
Visitation will take place from 10 AM – 1 PM on Thursday, July 2, at Brown Mortuary Service 812 Westlake Ave in Morton. A Chapel Service will immediately follow at 1 PM, at the same location. Interment will take place at Morton Cemetery. There will be a gathering afterward for family and friends at Luigi and Nita’s home, with the address being announced at the close of services.
