He was born August 13, 1924, in Oakland, CA, to Blanche (Gaberel) and John W. Clark Sr.
Robert graduated with his brother John, from Toledo High School, in 1942. He went to work in the logging industry, where he worked for many years.
Robert had many interests including steam engines, railroad and logging history, and keeping up to date on new logging equipment. He was an avid reader and enjoyed learning new things, all his life. He was also a ham radio operator and enjoyed talking with others; some became life-long friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, John Clark; and sister, Reva McKie
He is survived by a sister-in-law, Joan Clark, of Chehalis; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A celebration of life will be held at Toledo Senior Center, Sunday, April 7, 2019, at 1:00pm.
