Alma Hicks Deese, age 87, of Centreville entered into rest on Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2014 at Bibb Medical Center. She is survived by her nieces, Tina Cozad(Kevin) of Centreville, AL, Melissa Mitchell(Forrest) of Chelsea, AL and Sharon Jinks(Ken) of Decatur, AL; nephews, Mart Greathouse of Centreville, AL, Randall Hicks(Maggie) of Maplesville, AL and Brian Hicks(Angie) of Valley Grande, AL; a host of great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Hamner and Clara Hicks; sister, Edna Fondren; brothers, Clifton and Curtis Hicks; nephew, Darrell Hicks.
