This was a great man.  I loved seeing him at jerry rays.  I bet him and Jerry’Ray are having a great time in heaven.  He will be missed 

Mr. Bill was a true gentleman. I always hugged his neck every time I saw him. He would always say "I Love You".   Going to miss him.
He loved to tell me how good my yard always looked, that my husband did a good job. Knowing I did it all along. He was one of a kind.

On behalf of my family, the Hicks and Taylor families we are saddened to hear of the passing of Mr. Bill Tillery. He was a very special friend to us. He loved each of us and we knew it! We loved him as well.  We attended church with Mr. Bill for many years at West Blocton First Baptist. Mr. Bill was a great friend to my daddy. My dad was always at his gas/service station in West Blocton. There are so many fond memories being around Mr. Bill and his wife Betty. They were both great testimonies for the Lord by the kind of life they lived and the way they were always taking care of others. I will forever cherish the bond we had as friends and attending church together. I know Mr. Bill is reunited with his Betty and he is singing praises to the Lord with the angels! I am about sure he is telling jokes and talking Alabama football with my daddy & Mr. Tiny Hickman in heaven as well!
Joan, Wanda, and Mrs. Frances we love you all and are praying for comfort and peace at this difficult time. 

If you knew Mister Billy, you don't need to be told what an incredibly kind, warm, encouraging and friendly man he was. The idea of going to Schultz Creek Baptist and not seeing him and not getting a hug and an "I love you, Boy!' breaks my heart. I will miss him, the church, the county and everybody that knew him will miss him. He was the kind of person you looked forward to seeing. He made things better just by the light that he brought to every place he entered.  I wish I had words that did him justice. He was one of a kind and he lived his life making every effort to be used by God to bless as many people as possible in the time that he had on Earth. I loved him and if you ever met him you loved him and if you let him, he loved you back. I'm grateful I got to know him and share a little bit of time with him. I can only imagine the rewards he is receiving in Heaven and how beautiful it must be to hear the words "Well done!"
