

Billy Etheridge, age 77, raised in Pondville, AL, made his home in Centreville, AL for most of his life. He was a devoted father, grandfather, and friend whose love for his family was at the center of everything he did.
Billy was known for his kind heart and generous spirit. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and made sure those around him were cared for. His quiet strength, compassion, and sense of responsibility touched the lives of many.
In his spare time, Billy enjoyed fishing, cooking, and cheering on his favorite team, The Alabama Crimson Tide. Whether he was sharing a good meal, spending time outdoors, or simply enjoying the company of family and friends, Billy found joy in life's simple blessings.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, but his memory will live on through the love he shared and the example he set.

He is survived by: Son, BJ Etheridge; Daughter, Peggy Hill; Daughter, Patsy Hoggle; Grandchildren: Kaley Etheridge, Kyla Etheridge, Brayden Etheridge, Meagan Jackson, John Luke Hoggle, Joseph Hoggle, and Jesse Hoggle. Great Grandchildren: Kaiden Marina; Joleigh Averette, Noah Jackson, Maverick Jackson, Kolbee Hoggle and Myles Hoggle.
He is preceded in death by: Wife, Barbara Etheridge; Parents, Willie and Norva Etheridge; Siblings: Gordon Etheridge; Norman Etheridge; and Gene Brooks.
A Graveside service will be held on Friday October 24, 2025 at Pondville Methodist Cemetery in Brent, AL at 11:00 am with Rev. Brooks Shoults officiating.
Pallbearers are: B.J. Etheridge, Brayden Etheridge; and Jaycob Jackson.
