Brenda Jones Foster

She was a loving spouse, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother that took care of all of her family. Her best friend was her sister, Sheila, who you would find side by side all the time.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Beth and Harvey Jones; spouse, Richard Foster; siblings, Jimmy Jones and Debra Rose.

She is survived by her husband, Ken Carter; children, Michelle Roberts (Doug), Jennifer Foster, Christy Foster, and step-son Wesley Carter (Glee); siblings, Sheila Johnson, Jesse Jones, and Jeff Jones; grandchildren, Kayla Roberts (Joey), Karlee Whitley (Cameron), Ric Roberts, Kristen Gill (Chris), Cody Lee (Shayna), Caden Carter, and Hadylee Carter; great-grandchildren, Christian Ayala, Catalina Ayala, Camren Ayala, Ansleigh Whitley, Alexa Gill, Tucker Gill, Rylee Lee, Piper Lee, Zaine Lee, Lincoln Lee, and Remi Lee.

Pallbearers are Cody Lee, Ric Roberts, Wesley Carter, Joe Benjamin, Dustin Green, and Brandon Sims.

Honorary pallbearers will be Enhabit Hospice.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations made to Mt. Pleasant Freewill Baptist Church.

A funeral service for Brenda will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at 11 am at Mt. Pleasant Freewill Baptist Church with burial to follow. Pastor Sam Houston officiating.
