Carl David Kinard

He is survived by his wife of 45 years Brenda Kinard; son Davy Kinard (Hannah); daughter Crystal Kinard; step-daughter, Stephanie Jackson (Todd); five grandchildren, Forrest Hale (Amber), Nikki Hobson, Catherine Kinard, Abby Kinard, and Cora Kinard; brothers Garvis Kinard (Shirley), Garland Kinard (Faye).

He is preceded in death by his father Clarence Kinard; mother Gladys Kinard; son Shawn Cassidy Kinard; brothers Gordon Kinard, Glen Kinard, and Donald Jordan.

Carl enjoyed carpentry, grilling, spending time with his family, classic rock music, and being a member of the CB Radio Club for years. He spent 15 years in the Army National Guard 167th Engineer Company (Assault Ribbon Bridge).

Pallbearers are Ricky Kinard, Scooter Kinard, Forrest Hale, Todd Jackson, Jason Swindle, and Phil Cottingham. Honorary Pallbearers are the staff of UAB Hospital; Dr. EuDailey, Nurse Practitioners Amanda and Dylan, Nurses Olivia, Mason, Robert, Abbie, Anna, Kate, and all the Respiratory Therapists.

A visitation for Carl will be held Thursday October 24th from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Rockco Funeral Home, 805 Birmingham Rd. Centreville, AL 35042 followed by a funeral service at 12:00 pm with burial to follow at Kinard Mathis Cemetery. Pastor David Gresham will officiate.
