Charlene Marie Dunkin

Charlene was very outgoing and loved, she was known for her infectious smile. Two of her biggest passions were her family and Alabama football. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, daughter, nonni, and sister. Charlene truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures like watching WWE wrestling, crocheting blankets, being outdoors, spending time with her grandkids, and going to concerts and the beach.

She is preceded in death by father, Robert D. Phillips; brother, Robert D. Phillips Jr.; sister, Thressa L. Ferington.

Charlene is survived by her husband, James H. Dunkin Jr.; her mother, Charlotte A. Hardcastle; children, Lantha Anderson (Eric), Cody Hardcastle (Linda), Deborah Hardcastle, Samantha Dunkin, Meagan Dunkin, and Henry C. Dunkin; grandchildren, Brody Golden and Baylee Golden; and numerous friends and extended family.

A visitation for Charlene will be held Saturday, June 1, 2024 from 10 am - 11 am at Rockco Funeral Home in Centreville, Al with a memorial service to follow at 11 am.
