I had the pleasure of working with Mr. Chris at Chick fil A in McCalla for several years a great man he use to always call me the Mayor of Bessemer said I knew everyone I should run for Mayor. He loved and cared about people, He was my daughter adopt Paw Paw as she called him they had a special bond. Mr. Chris I remember when Lynn got you that Crimson truck we were at work you had the biggest smile on your face cause you wasn't expecting it I have so many memories can't tell it all may you rest now you will forever be in my heart Love You💖💖💖💖

Chris Weems was one of the kindest men I ever met and would do anything for his friends and family. I have many fond memories of Chris and Lynn when we all attended Sonrise Church together. Our children all grew up together and he adored Lynn, Kyle and Alicia. I pray for strength and peace for this special family. 

I’m so sorry to hear about Chris. I worked with him at AmSouth & remember him well. He was such a nice guy. I particularly remember how happy & proud he was when Kyle was born. Much sympathy to all the family. He will be greatly missed.

Dan & I met and got to know Chris & Lynn through our ownership at Palms.   We shared a love for the beach!  Chris was such a kind, insightful person.  He adored Lynn and was so supportive and encouraging of her.  Chris’ sarcastic sense of humor was delightful and his front porch stories were intoxicating!  He being an avid Bama fan and us being avid Auburn fans, Chris took great pleasure in the fun  Alabama-Auburn banter!   Chris & Lynn recently shared with us the story of how they met, dated and married. Chris was Lynn’s Heaven journey partner and she was his.  Chris was never ashamed nor reserved in sharing his faith and  love for Christ Jesus, which inspired and uplifted all who were blessed to have cross paths with him.  Our prayers are continuing for Lynn, Alicia and Kyle as well as the entire Weems family. Rest high our friend, rejoice in your ultimate reward.  Until we meet again  

I have lost my brother and my best friend. Chris was  always there for me and for our family.  As he was always the quiet one it was up to you to really know him and what he was all about. After childhood he and I had shared several places that we lived in together, which further strengthened our relationship as brothers and friends. He will be missed as a devoted husband, father , brother and friend to everyone he had ever touched with his gentle presence.  There is so much more I would love to offer , but am far too much at a loss emotionally to continue for now. Goodbye, you will always be loved.

Though Alicia and I grew apart over the years, the Weems family will always hold a special place in my heart. Chris and Lynn always welcomed me into their home with open arms, and Chris would always make extra special chili without beans just for me, on top of his famous pecan pie of course! I’m so thankful to have been blessed with knowing Chris and my life will forever be better because of it. Until we meet again Chris. 

I really didn’t know Chris as good as I should but I know he made Lynn very happy and they shared a good life and he always referred to her as Beautiful.  I did get to read several of his front porch stories. I missed the pies I never got a bite.   Lynn was inspirational to me by introducing me to my husband along with the other girls at west blocton high school at the trade school accounting class. Lowell drove the bus and I will forever be grateful to her and the other girls for putting us together I could not have had a better spouse. Lynn is a very smart and strong lady. And I will be praying for her and her family in the near future. We shared a lot in school but when you leave school you lose a lot but we were blessed to always get to bump into one another along the way every now and then and our children were in school together. I know that Chris was a great man and God needed him more than we did and our Heavenly Father will not fail us as we adjust in the near future. Lynn May God shelter you as you go from here and your family also
