Christopher Davenport, age 60, of Randolph, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 following a long battle with colon cancer. He graduated from Bibb County High School and served in the Alabama National Guard. He spent his career hauling rocks and enjoyed reading, watching Alabama football and traveling in his spare time. He will be deeply missed by friends and family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Davenport; brother, Dan Davenport; and brother-in-law, Alvin Darden. He is survived by his mother, Jewel Henderson Davenport; his daughter, Jessica Barnes (Dan) of Randolph, AL; son, Lee Davenport (Rachel) of Real Town, AL and Damien Bell of Randolph, AL; granddaughters, Erin and Kelsey Hubbard, and Destinee and Ocie Scarbrough; sisters, Kathy Dutton (Randall) of Randolph, AL and Mary Darden of Brent, AL; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and his work family at Evergreen Transport in Calera.
