Darrell Eugene Lovejoy, 76, passed away on January 28, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dorthan Eugene "Judge" Lovejoy and Virginia Coe Lovejoy; his brother, John Lovejoy; and his brother-in-law, Denson Tubbs.
He is survived by his loving sisters, Dottie (Reginald) Bennett and Janell Tubbs; his nephew, Shane Johnson; nieces, Kayla Tubbs and Lacey (Blake) Bamberg; great-nephews, Colter (Casey) Johnson and Jackson Hasty; and great-niece, Jadie Hasty.
Darrell dedicated over 30 years of his life to serving others at Bibb Medical Center Nursing Home, where his hard work and kindness touched many lives.
Darrell will be remembered for his devotion to family, his warm heart, and the impact he made on those who knew him.
A memorial service may be announced at a later date.
