Dennis Jones

Dennis is preceded in death by his parents: J.W. Jones and Opal Foster Jones - 101 years old. his siblings: Glen Jones, Cynthia Jones Dobbs, Dalton Jones and Sandy Jones. Grandparents: George Jones and Bertha Jones, Walter Foster and Altha Foster.Nephew Charlie Wolfe and Niece Brandi Jones Fancher.

He is survived by his siblings: Rickey Jones (Melinda), Casey Jones of Centreville Al, Sharon Jones Ross (Mike), of Selma Al,and Pam Jones Buckalew of Centreville Al. And numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be: Mike Ross, Alex Jones, Hunter Wolfe and Frank Mitchell, Sebastian Wolfe, and Rickey Jones.

Dennis was a faithful member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, attending every time the church doors would open, until he was needed to care for members of his family.He cared for his brother, giving him dialysis treatments.These treatments required much training and skill to administer. He then cared for his precious 101 year-old mother,who he called "Maw". Up until the day of his homecoming, he was caring for another brother.

He loved to hunt, fish, farm and collect arrowheads and other indian artifacts. He also enjoyed playing little league baseball in his younger days and co-ed softball as an adult, he was the best 2nd baseman around!

Dennis was always tinkering with some type of equipment that always seemed to be in need of repair. He was always the MacGyver of our family.

His presence will be greatly missed, especially at family gatherings and his delicious dressing at Christmas.

Visitation will be held at Bethlehem Baptist Church, 100 Star Circle, Centreville, AL 35042, US, on March 20, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by the Funeral Service at Bethlehem Baptist Church, 100 Star Circle, Centreville, AL 35042, US, on March 20, 2026, from 11:00 am to 11:30 am. With Bro. Tom Conroy officiating.

A Committal Service will take place at Harris Cemetery, 00000, Centreville, AL 35042, US, on March 20, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 12:10 pm, with additional Committal Service observances noted for March 20, 2026.
