Donald Ray Jordan, age 79, of West Blocton, Alabama entered into rest on Monday, February 16th, 2021. Don was born on February 4, 1942 to Archie Jordan and Laura Lightsey. Don worked in the auto trim business for years and was the owner of Jordan Brothers Auto Upholstery. He loved Alabama football and the Dallas Cowboys. He loved his family and friends and will be missed by all. He is survived by his sons, Donald Jordan, Jr. (Lisa) of Bonita Springs, Florida, Glenn Jordan of Pembroke Pines, Florida, Greg Jordan of West Blocton; family friend, Joseph Carroll of West Blocton; stepdaughters, Leslie Lane LaPoint of West Blocton, Lori Lane of Hallandale, Florida, Lisa Lane Hardemon of West Blocton, and Leane Lane Eaton (Mark) of Hoover; 9 grandchildren, Amanda Jordan, Megan Jordan, Brandon Jordan, Bobby LaPoint, Ryan LaPoint, Taylor Tuning Liles, CJ Hardemon, AJ Lane Rosea, Luke Eaton, 13 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette Ann Jordan; his parents, Archie Jordan and Laura Lightsey; his brothers, J.W. Pickett, Jolee Pickett, Archie “Junior” Jordan, Richard Jordan, Charles Jordan; his sisters, Lorene Watts, Annie Patterson, Shirley Hardemon, and Willadean Whatley.
Visitation will be Sunday, February 21, 2021 at Smith Hill Church of God with the service starting at 2PM.
Burial will follow at New Haven Cemetery on Mt. Carmel Road with Rev. Etheridge Smith and Rev. Pete Moran presiding.
