Peggy loved to work, she ran the Centreville City Cafe up until she could not work anymore. She was an avid dog lover leaving behind her beloved dog "Jenna". Peggy also held a special place in her heart for her only surviving Brother, Charles Colburn and his Wife Doreen Colburn.
She is survived by: Daughter, Nancy (John) Coleman; Daughter, Patricia Bailey; and a host of Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by: Husband, Rayford Smith; and Son, Sammy Smith.
A Graveside service will be held on at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at Pineland Memorial Park in Centreville, AL.
