Edith Burnett White

Edith loved flowers. She spent all of her free time gardening. She spent 35 years working as a unit secretary assisting doctors in the intensive care unit and the emergency room at Dch regional medical center and Methodist Central medical center. Once she retired from unit secretary she began working at Brent Walmart garden center where she worked for 17 years as she loved the flowers and her walmart family.

She is survived by: Son, Jeffrey (Sharon) Brewer; Son, John White; Granddaughter, Jennifer (Zachary) Novel; Granddaughter, Heather (David) Cox; Granddaughter, Kristen Ann (Donnie) Caffee; Granddaughter, Chelsea Lauren (Cody) Conner; Granddaughter, Kalyn (Layne) Atwell; Grandson, Zachary Delana (Cayleigh) Brewer; Great Grandson, Jacob Noah Brewer; Great Grandson, Benjamin MIller; Great Grandson, Ashton Atwell; Great Grandson, Tucker Atwell; Great Grandson, Westin Brewer; Great Granddaughter, Kylie Caffee; Great Granddaughter, Maddie Brook Caffee; Great Granddaughter, Emma Conner; Great Granddaughter, Olivia Conner; Great Granddaughter, Aubree Conner; Sister, Betty Sue White; and Brother, Jimmy (Theresa) Burnett.

She is preceded in death by: Her parents, Isaac and Blanche Burnett; Brother, Ralph; Sister, Louise; Brother, Isaac; Sister, Gertrude; Sister, Gurise Lee; Brother, Glenn; Sister, Virginia; Sister, Billie Jean; and Infant Sister, Ruth Burnett.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 19, 2025 at 1:00 PM from Antioch Baptist Church in Antioch, AL.

A visitation will be held 45 minutes prior to the service.

Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
