Elaine Marie Burt

Elaine Marie Burt, a resident of Centreville, Alabama, passed away on December 22, 2025, at the age of 79. Born on December 13, 1946, Elaine was a beloved, cherished, and compassionate individual who touched the lives of many.

Elaine attended the Pondville School in her early years and graduated from Bibb High School. She was a hard-working and honest woman who worked and retired from Health Tex and later continued her dedication to service by working at Walmart.

Elaine was a devoted and faithful family woman, having three children: Chris Burt (Doree), Jason Burt (Donna), and Tanya Burke (James). She was blessed with 14 grandchildren: Corey Burt (LeAnn), Breana Burt, Audrey Cagle (Kyle), Lindsey Worsley (Jarod), Clay Burke (Bri), Mason Burt (Trinity), Tyler Burt (Huntleigh), Ethan Burke (Bailey), Brody Burke, Hagan Burt, Brylan Burt, Cody Burt, Cameron Cox, and Ayden Cox. Her family continued to grow with five great-grandchildren: Jessalyn, Jaythan, Aolani, Stella, and Levi.

Elaine was known for her gentle, generous, and kind-hearted nature. She loved music, singing, and dancing, and was an active member of her community, spending time with friends at the Senior Center and attending church. Her wise, patient, and resilient spirit, along with her humorous and inspirational presence, left a lasting impact on all who knew her.

The family extends their gratitude to Amedysis Home Health, Amedysis Hospice, and nurse Jessica Hoggle for their compassionate care.

Elaine's selfless and thoughtful nature was guided by her love for the Bible verse John 3:16, which she held dear to her heart.

Elaine Marie Burt will be remembered as a loyal and devoted friend, a loving and patient family member, and an inspirational figure in her community.
