Elizabeth Elise Roland

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Wayne Vining Sr.; her parents, George and Willie Yeager; and her brothers, George (Bobby) Yeager and Jimmy Yeager.

She is survived by her daughter, Theresa Kornegay (Eddie); son, Wayne Vining (Teresa). She also leaves behind her sister, Ruth Pierson, and her grandchildren, Matt Kornegay (Lindsay), Dannon Vining (Shayla), Seth Vining, and Dylan Teasley (Jenna), as well as her great-grandchildren, Kade Kornegay, Kinsley Kornegay, Jax Vining, and Kathleen Teasley.

Elizabeth was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who delighted in her family. She had a passion for Auburn football, reading the Bible, and spending quality time with her loved ones. A dedicated member of the Centreville Church of Christ, she also visited the West Blocton Church of Christ, contributing to her community with her presence and faith.

Pallbearers honoring Elizabeth include Kade Kornegay, Dannon Vining, Seth Vining, Gene McKinney, Kevin Lawrence, and Doug Gilreath.

Elizabeth Elise Roland will be remembered for her warmth, compassion, and unwavering love for her family and community.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday October 21, 2025 at 12pm at Red Eagle Cemetery in West Blocton, AL.
