Gerry Ruth Lawhorn, age 58, of Thomson, GA entered into rest on Tuesday, April 5, 2016, at McDuffie University Medical Center. Visitation was held on April 10, 2016 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at Rockco Funeral Home. Graveside service was held at 2:00 PM at Johntown Cemetery with Rockco Funeral Home directing and Rev. Ray Jones officiating. Survivors include one son, James Watts (Mindy) of Harlem, GA; two daughters, Gerrena Roebuck (DKendrick) of Grovetown, GA; Jennifer Watts of Clanton; one brother, Joe Wester of Cottondale; four sisters; Helen Jones of Vance; Diane Hobson of Tuscaloosa; Deborah McDonald of Vance; and Robyn Jamison of Suffolk, VA; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Joe Wester, Gerrena Roebuck, Tajeh Watts, Jamie Belcher, James Watts, and Jennifer Watts.
